BIG SKY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
At the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce, we are more than a network. We are a driving force behind the success and sustainability of our local economy.
As a proactive advocate and connector, we bring together businesses, leaders, and community partners to spark collaboration and turn ideas into action. We serve as a trusted resource and a unified voice, helping our members navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and build a stronger future together.
Our mission is rooted in supporting a resilient, thriving business environment, one that reflects the energy, spirit, and potential of Big Sky.
What does that look like day to day? We convene. We advocate. We guide. From amplifying local voices in critical conversations, to providing tools for business growth, we are here to champion those who make Big Sky the vibrant place we call home.
Because when local businesses succeed, we rise together, and that is the heart of our mission.
MEET OUR TEAM
Brad Niva CEO
With a degree from Western Washington University in public relations, Brad has kept his focus on the outdoor recreation industry throughout his career. With previous experiences in ski area marketing, outdoor retail, and, most recently, owning three tourism-based companies in Oregon, Brad brings many years of experience to Big Sky. Understanding the challenges of the tourism economy, as well as the cash flow cycles in a resort community, are all too familiar. At the same time, Brad’s mantra of “being of service” and “getting things done” have been hallmarks of his career. In his leadership role at the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce and Visit Big Sky, Brad is focused on community engagement and facilitating meaningful problem-solving for the community as well as the businesses that make up the Big Sky economy. Brad’s favorite activity is working with business owners and supporting them and their businesses. “So often a business owner is alone and doesn’t have a resource just to talk things out. I hope in my role I can be a friend, an advocate, and a sounding board to our business community”. Brad lives in Big Sky with his wife, Babs, and their two teenage kids, Piper and Riley.
Megan Porter Vice President, Big Sky Chamber

Annie Mitzel Membership Experience Coordinator
Annie is a recent graduate from The University of Wyoming bringing her passion for community building and event planning to Big Sky. She’s eager to bring memorable events to life and create meaningful connections within the Big Sky community, and with her small town Wyoming roots, she feels right at home in her new role.
Ali Carr Director of Member Operations
With a strong foundation in recruiting, a deep love for community, and a genuine commitment to leading with compassion, Ali brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to every space she steps into. Her work is grounded in the belief that strong communities are built through trust, connection, and care; values she carries into every conversation, partnership, and initiative. Based in both Bozeman and Big Sky, she’s uniquely positioned to understand the rhythms, needs, and strengths of the region. She’s passionate about helping members feel seen, supported, and truly part of something bigger. Her background in recruiting gives her a strategic lens for understanding people’s motivations and talents, while her heart for community work ensures that relationships are nurtured with intention and empathy. Ali is especially energized by opportunities to bring people together; whether that’s through member engagement, collaborative problem‑solving, or creating spaces where families and businesses feel they belong. She leads with compassion, listens deeply, and shows up with a steady, grounded presence that helps others feel at ease. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her curled up with a good book, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with her beloved cat, Jeep, and her dog, Bucatini
