Skiing and snowboarding at Big Sky Resort is the main event in Big Sky and for good reason. With over 5,800 skiiable terrain, it is one of the largest ski resorts in North America. The resort offers a mix of groomed trails, challenging steeps and expansive bowls.

LIFT TICKETS

Book lift tickets for Big Sky Resort for the winter 2024-25 season now for the best prices. Tickets include access to 39 chairlifts and the Lone Peak Tram. Purchase multi-day tickets to get more savings.

All lift tickets must be loaded onto a reusable RFID Sky Card. Pick up your Sky Cards up at  Sky Card Express Boxes or Basecamp, Mountain Services, or the Madison Base ticket office.

Beginner & 1 pm half-day tickets - available at ticket windows ONLY

 

Beginner Tickets include access to the magic carpets at Mountain Village and Madison Base, plus the Explorer lift in Mountain Village and Derringer lift in Madison Base. You cannot access one lift from the other as they are in two different base areas.

1 pm Half-Day Ticket available for lift access from 1 pm - 4 pm. Half-day tickets are available for same-day purchase ONLY starting at 12:30 pm. 

 

LONE PEAK TRAM

The Lone Peak Tram offers a comfortable ride, spectacular views and challenging terrain from the top of Lone Mountain.  Single-day or multi-day lift tickets purchased from the resort will include tram access for the 2024-2025 winter season.  Guests holding Ikon, Mountain Collective and Big Sky Resort passes without tram acess have the option to purchase single-ride tickets via autocharge.
